Thanks for this update on your protocols!

I had a thought: have you had your Vitamin D levels checked? I know it could be another annoying test (and maybe expensive in Australia???) However, I'm suggesting it because I just had mine done, and they were suprisingly quite low. Suprising because I eat fish daily, enjoy some sun and occasionally supplement with it. But obviously, I haven't gotten enough. I know that there are some MD's who recommend people healing with cancer keep their levels quite high (e.g. Dr. Gundry provides info and rational on his website/podcast). Thought this idea might help you!

Yes, I test them regularly. None of the protocols include it but even the doctors recommend it. When they first discovered it a few years back now, I was suspicious because doctors never promote nutrients and now they are. It is still fishy that they are all flogging D and none of them are flogging C. I have no idea what is wrong with taking D but my spidey senses tell them there IS something wrong with it. I had been taking 1000 IU daily for a while and slowly bringing my numbers up, but then my doctor told me to take 5000 IU per day. I started doing that and got terrible pain in my legs, which is where all toxic materials show up - drugs and neutraceuticals with bad fillers. So i have dropped back to 1000 IU until I get time to do the research I need to do to find out why some people are saying it is poison. Maybe there are just good and bad formulations and good and bad brands.

Dr mercola switched to only getting his from the sun. He has reasons but I don't have the links at hand with his citations.
